Northwind computed quotes on Excel with complex business rules (volumetric weight, country taxes, fuel surcharges, insurance options). Each quote took 2h and created discrepancies between commercials. Goal: a public self-service calculator, with automatic PDF quote generation and TMS sync.

Fuel surcharges change daily per corridor. Taxes vary by departure and arrival country. The calculator had to support EUR, USD, GBP, CHF. Generated quotes had to be timestamped, digitally signed and archived 7 years for customs compliance.
